Using t-distribution
This calculator sizes a paired-design Student’s t-test — the right choice when every observation in one arm has a matched partner in the other (e.g. before/after, or matched pairs). It derives the standard deviation of the paired difference from your two arms’ individual SDs and their correlation, then applies the one-sample t-test formula to that difference.
